Salt Water Nursery 

Great Meadows is the only commercial East Coast source for salt marsh plants propagated in their natural setting. 

Our wetlands nursery has a capacity of over 4.5 million plants.  We also propagate and grow freshwater wetland, transitional, and upland species for our projects, and on a "contract grow" basis. We complement our own nursery stock with an extensive list of native nursery stock providers throughout the region. 

In addition to a wide range of native plugs, bare root stock and containerized plants, we offer a selection of proprietary salt and freshwater wetland native seed mixes.

Great Meadows Nursery completes major expansion

Our wetland nursery has just undergone  the largest renovation and expansion in its thirty year history. Our facilities have been enhanced by the addition of new, large capacity wetland greenhouses, as well as a state-of-the-art seed processing facility.
